• Quick tips, extensive details to teach pup to chew toys instead of guests & furniture
• Free agility intro starting Week 2 (depending on weather) Sat. noon (also Mon. 9 a.m. & Wed. 6:15 p.m. with combo PuppyLove/Basic Manners extra class times)
• Behavior tips improve manners in days - jumping up, barking, house training, chewing, stealing, overly-friendly rough social skills etc.

Orientation Week 1: 10:30 a.m. Mon., 4:30 p.m. Wed. or 6:30 p.m. Thurs. Include your chosen orientation date on class registration form to reserve your spot.

     Something popped up on my screen recently listing breeds that are hardest to socialize. I sighed and opened up the list. It has been a while since we had a Tibetan mastiff or Caucasian shepherd dog, but all the rest have frequently been in our PuppyLove programs and are/were lovely.   

     Taking pups to a safe puppy class starting at 8 week is incredibly important. Some of the fastest social exposure has be done before the pup is 12 weeks old when rapid-fire brain synapsis development slows down. That makes exposure to new people, sights, sounds & smells after the pup is 112 weeks old a bit trickier to handle.

     Those other “tricky” breeds? Our baby puppy chow chows, akitas, shiba inus, basenjis, Jack Russell terriers, Afghan hounds, shar peis, Weimaraner, Australian cattledogs and dogo Argentinos have been stars in their communities, like the countless other breeds & mixed breeds we have helped owners train. 

Free supervised PLAY TIMES for approved returning PuppyLove graduates continue with at least monthly attendance: 11 a.m. Thurs., 1:15 p.m. Sat.
